Where to keep it?

Rubber plants like bright light, and they handle a bit of gentle sun better than most indoor plants.

• Best spot: Window Light (bright near a window, light filtered through glass/curtain) or in a balcony with some shade
  
• It can take Direct Sunlight for a short time (especially morning sun), but avoid harsh afternoon sun for long hours.

How much watering?

The most common issue is watering too often—Rubber plants prefer the soil to dry a bit between waterings.

• Touch the soil and push your finger 1 inch deep.
• If it feels even slightly moist, don’t water.
• If it feels dry, water thoroughly until water drains from the bottom.
• In summers: usually once a week
• In winters: usually once every 10–14 days (Always follow the finger-test over the calendar.)

Other care tips

• Wipe the leaves once in a while—Rubber leaves collect dust and it blocks light.
• Rotate the pot every couple of weeks so it grows straight.
