Return, Exchange and Refund Policy

At Planterie, each order is checked carefully before dispatch. Because many of our products are fragile, handmade, live, or made-to-order, we do not accept returns or exchanges once an order has been delivered.

Returns and exchanges

We do not offer returns or exchanges for:

  • change of mind

  • incorrect selection by the customer

  • products that are no longer wanted after delivery

  • natural variation in handmade or live plant products, as described on the product page

Damaged or defective products

If you receive a product that is damaged or defective at the time of delivery, please email us at contact@planterie.in within 24 hours of delivery.

Please include:

  • your order number

  • clear photographs of the damaged or defective product

  • a brief description of the issue

After reviewing the complaint and the photographs, if we confirm that the product was delivered in a damaged or defective condition, we will process a full refund.

Refund process

  • Refunds are issued only after Planterie verifies the damage or defect.

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 15 days of verification.

  • The refund will be made to the same payment method used for the original purchase.

  • The time taken for the refund to reflect in your account may also depend on your bank or payment provider.

Inspection rights

Planterie reserves the right to review the complaint, photographs, and any other relevant information before approving a refund.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be cancelled only before they are processed.

Once an order has been processed, packed, or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

Planterie reserves the right to refuse cancellation requests for orders that have already been processed.

Product Properties and Plant Care

Many of our products are handmade, natural, or live plant products, so slight variations are normal.

Handmade and natural products

Because products may be handmade or made using natural materials, there may be minor variations in:

  • shape

  • size

  • texture

  • finish

  • color

These natural variations are not considered defects.

Live plants

For live plants, the plant you receive may differ slightly from the product image over time because plants are living organisms and naturally change in shape, fullness, and appearance as they grow.

This natural variation is not considered damage or defect.

We request customers to:

  • read the product description carefully before placing an order

  • review plant care instructions before purchasing

  • ensure that the plant is suitable for their light, space, and living conditions
