Where to keep it?

Think bright shade. A spot with indirect light (near a window, behind a curtain, or a few feet away from sunlight) is ideal.

More indirect light usually means better colour and pattern on the leaves. Harsh, direct sun for long hours can scorch them.

How much watering?

Overwatering is the #1 reason Aglaonemas die. Their roots store water, so they prefer drying out between waterings. Yellowing leaves often mean the soil is staying wet too long.

• Touch the soil and gently push your finger 1 inch deep.If it feels even slightly moist, don’t water.
• If it feels dry, water thoroughly until water drains from the bottom.
• In summers: water once a week, in winters: usually once every 2 weeks (Always follow the finger-test over the calendar.)

Other care tips

• If a leaf turns yellow, remove it (twist and pull gently).
• Wipe the leaves once in a while so dust doesn’t block light.
