Description

Spend a slow Sunday building a mini world in a jar. We guide you step-by-step—from choosing plants to layering and styling—so you leave with a finished terrarium and simple care tips.

  • Booking Fee: ₹300 (Facilitation & Instruction)

  • Material Cost: ₹2,000 (Payable at the studio after the workshop). Includes all natural materials (plants, soil layers, moss, and stones) and glass jar.

  • Vessel: We use a standard 8-inch fishbowl jar.

  • Optional: Miniatures and figurines for embellishment are available for an extra charge.

Time: 11am-12pm, every Sunday.
Care

A terrarium is a tiny weather system. The biggest mistake is treating it like a normal pot.

Where to keep it?

Think bright, no direct sun.

  • A well-lit spot indoors, away from harsh sunlight (terrariums can overheat quickly).

How much watering?

Most terrariums need surprisingly little water.

  • Only use drinking water
  • Use spray bottle to avoid overwatering
  • For open jar, spray lightly when the soil looks dry or the leaves seem limp
  • For closed jar, you may not need to spray for months. Only do so when soil looks dry or leaves look limp

Other care tips

  • Remove dead leaves quickly (they mould first).
  • If mould appears, open the lid for airflow and reduce watering.
