These Terms of Service govern your use of www.planterie.in and your purchase of products from Planterie. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service, our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return, Exchange and Refund Policy.

This website is operated by Planterie.

Planterie operates from Panchsheel, New Delhi and currently delivers only within Delhi-NCR.

2. Eligibility and Use of Website

By using this website, you confirm that:

  • you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract

  • the information you provide to us is accurate, complete, and current

  • you will use this website only for lawful purposes

You may not use this website:

  • for any fraudulent or unlawful purpose

  • to interfere with or disrupt the website or its security

  • to copy, reproduce, distribute, exploit, or commercially use any content from this website without our prior written consent

3. Product Information

We try to ensure that all product descriptions, images, prices, and other information on the website are accurate.

However:

  • handmade, natural, and live plant products may have slight variations in color, shape, size, texture, or appearance

  • live plants may naturally differ from product photographs over time due to growth, season, and plant biology

  • such natural variation does not constitute a defect

Customers are requested to read product descriptions and care instructions carefully before placing an order.

4. Service Area

Planterie currently accepts and delivers orders only within Delhi-NCR.

We do not currently ship outside Delhi-NCR.

5. Pricing

All prices displayed on the website are listed in Indian Rupees (INR).

Prices shown on the website are the prices applicable at the time of purchase unless there is an obvious pricing error.

Shipping charges, if applicable, will be shown separately at checkout or as otherwise stated in our Shipping Policy.

If we discover an obvious error in the price of a product after you place an order, we may cancel the order and refund the amount paid, or contact you with the corrected price and the option to proceed or cancel.

6. Payment

We accept payment through the payment methods made available at checkout.

Your order will be processed only after successful payment authorization.

If payment is declined, unsuccessful, reversed, or not authorized, the order will not be accepted or fulfilled.

Planterie does not store your full card details on its own servers unless expressly stated through a secure payment feature provided on the website or by an authorized payment service provider.

7. Order Acceptance and Cancellation

Placing an order on the website is an offer to purchase a product.

Your order is confirmed only after it is accepted by Planterie.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order, including in cases involving:

  • product unavailability

  • pricing or listing errors

  • suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions

  • incorrect customer information

  • delivery address outside our service area

Orders may be cancelled only before they are processed. Once an order has been processed, packed, or dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

8. Shipping and Delivery

Our shipping timelines, shipping charges, delivery area, and related conditions are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

Currently:

  • we deliver only within Delhi-NCR

  • a flat shipping fee of Rs. 200 applies

  • orders placed before 6:00 PM are delivered the same day

  • orders placed after 6:00 PM are delivered the next day

Customers must ensure that the delivery address is accurate and that someone is available to receive the order.

If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address details or recipient unavailability, re-delivery may be arranged at an additional cost.

9. Returns, Exchanges and Refunds

Our returns, exchanges, and refunds are governed by our Return, Exchange and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Service.

In summary:

  • Planterie does not accept returns or exchanges after delivery

  • if a product is delivered in damaged or defective condition, the customer must contact contact@planterie.in within 24 hours of delivery

  • approved refunds are processed after verification and refunded to the original payment method

10. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, photographs, graphics, logos, icons, page layouts, product descriptions, and other materials, is the property of Planterie or is used with permission.

No part of this website may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, distributed, or commercially exploited without our prior written consent.

11. User Communications

When you contact us through the website or by email, you consent to receive communications from us electronically in relation to your orders, requests, or customer support queries.

You may also receive transactional communications related to your purchase, including order confirmation, delivery coordination, and refund updates.

  • delays, interruptions, or technical failures

  • inaccuracies or errors in website content

  • unauthorized access not caused by our willful misconduct

  • events beyond our reasonable control

This clause does not limit liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

15. Force Majeure

Planterie shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations where such delay or failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • natural disasters

  • fire

  • flood

  • pandemic or epidemic

  • war

  • terrorism

  • civil disturbance

  • strikes or labour disruptions

  • transport interruptions

  • failure of telecommunications or internet services

  • government actions, restrictions, or regulations

In such cases, our obligations shall be suspended for the duration of the event and resumed within a reasonable time thereafter.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to applicable law, the courts at Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with the use of this website or any purchase made through it.
