Disclaimer:
You may notice slight variations in the miniature elements and plant size compared to the photos, since each arrangement is handcrafted and every plant grows differently.

Care

Where to keep it?

Both plants do best in gentle, steady brightness.

  • Best spot: Window Light (bright near a window, light filtered via glass/curtain).
  • They can handle Away from Window Light if the room still gets good daylight, but growth slows.
  • Avoid long hours of Direct Sunlight—it heats the pots and dries them out fast (Fittonia suffers first).

How much watering?

The key difference: Fittonia dislikes drying out, while Dwarf palm dislikes big swings - bone-dry one week, soggy the next. Palms prefer steady moisture. So aim for soil that stays lightly moist—not soggy.

  • Touch the soil and push your finger 1 inch deep.
  • If it feels even slightly moist, wait.
  • If it feels dry, water thoroughly until a little water drains from the bottom.
  • In summers: usually 2 times a week
  • In winters: usually once a week (Always follow the finger-test over the calendar.)

Other care tips

  • If the Fittonia droops, it’s usually thirst—water and it often perks up within a few hours.
  • Brown tips on the palm usually mean dry air / irregular watering—trim only the brown part.
  • Keep both away from hot, dry AC drafts (these two plants feel it quickly).
