Bonsai Schefflera

Schefflera drops leaves when it’s stressed—most often from low light + inconsistent watering.

Where to keep it?

Think bright indirect light.

• Indoors: close to a window, protected from harsh sun.
• Outdoors: bright shade.

How much watering?

The goal is: water well, then let the top layer dry.

• Finger test: push 1 inch deep.
• If moist, wait.
• If dry, water thoroughly.
• Summer: usually 1x/week.
• Winter: usually 1x every 2 weeks.

Other care tips

• Rotate occasionally for even shape.
• If it starts leaning, it’s usually reaching for light.
