Description

The Alocasia Polly is pure drama—bold, arrow-shaped leaves with striking white veins that command attention, nestled in our classic Terracotta Chalice. It's the kind of plant that turns any space into a statement.

Unlike cut flowers that fade in days, this beauty keeps giving. Air-purifying, sculptural, and endlessly captivating, it's a gift that grows with you, season after season.

Care

Your Alocasia Poly comes planted in the right soil mix so it starts healthy — with just a few basics right, its bold, sculptural leaves will stay striking and lush.

Where to keep it?
Alocasia Poly prefers bright, indirect light. Place it near a window with filtered light, away from harsh direct sun which can burn the leaves.
Too little light may slow growth and reduce leaf size.

How much watering?
Alocasia likes evenly moist soil but dislikes soggy roots. Both overwatering and letting it dry out fully can stress the plant.

  • Touch the soil and push your finger 1 inch deep. If it feels slightly moist, don’t water.
  • If the top feels dry, water thoroughly until water drains from the bottom.
  • In summers: usually 1–2 times a week. In winters: once in 7–10 days. (Always follow the finger-test over the calendar.)

Other care tips

  • Loves humidity — dry air can cause brown edges.
  • Keep away from direct AC drafts and heaters.
  • Occasional yellowing of older leaves is normal; trim from the base.
