Where to keep it?

Think bright light / sun.

  • Indoors: sunny windowsill is ideal.
  • Outdoors: sun is great, but acclimatise slowly (a few days in bright shade first).

How much watering?

The mistake is frequent small watering. Do soak + drain, then wait.

  • Finger test: soil surface dry isn’t enough—check 1 inch deep.
  • If dry, water thoroughly and let excess drain fully.
  • Spring/Summer: usually 1x every 7–10 days (depends on sun/heat).
  • Winter: minimal; only if shrivelling starts.

Other care tips

  • Never let the pot sit in water.
  • Bright light keeps succulents compact; low light makes them stretch.
